Wake Robin Trillium : Trillium ovatum

The bell of the forest ball. Trillium is a favorite amongst Pacific Northwesterners as it wakes with the robins to signal spring.

Trillium needs moist, humus rich soil under the cover of shade. It is a perfect plant for darker corners of your realm and transforms from white to varying colors of pinkish-purple in a season.
