Suuuper late bloomer (autumnale = autumn bloom), hanging with the douglas aster and goldenrood for longevity. The pollinators thank you. Rumor has it, this plant will be on the PPL in the next iteration...

Often grows next to streams and ponds, but does fine in a dry, urban landscape too.

Don't be fooled, it doesn't make you sneeze. Insect-pollinated, not wind pollinated, therefore not on the seasonal allergy list. However, dry the leaves and inhale them as snuff, and you'll sneeze.
