$9.00 - $18.00
Plant type: deciduous shrub
Height: 3-10'
Light: full to part sun
Soil: dry to moist (well drained)
PPL: YES
A coveted rarety - fragrant blooms in summer, red twig winter interest. Big on all the pollinators' weekly Top 40 and a butterfly larval host.
A bit fussy about its soil - needs very rocky/sandy, high-draining. Think dry and sunny. Drought tolerant; nitrogen-fixer
Alias Oregon tea tree (cuz you can make a tea from the leaves), Soapbloom (cuz you can make a lightly fragrant soap out of its parts)
