You can tell it’s an aspen because of the way that it is.

Cream-colored to light green bark, spine-tingling noises when summer breezes shake the leaves. Dramatic fall colors.

Grows relatively quickly and often forms clones off of its roots (avoid planting near infrastructure). Short-lived in tree years.
