Fringecup : Tellima grandiflora
Slender wands of cream and pale pink flowers arch upward above fuzzy foliage. Folklore cites this species as forage for woodland elves to help improve their night vision.
It grows in moist glades and at the edges of shade. Many leaves overwinter and turn a vibrant red in the cold season to offer a bright pop of color in your winter space.
Hummingbirds dig it, slugs do not. A whimsical and bewitching plant.
