Our quickest-growing evergreen tree. They can live over 800 years if we would let them. Timber is prized by us humans; the cones, needles, shade, and bark are prized by forest creatures.

Not a true fir, as the cones hang down (and have flattened seed tags hanging out, looking like mouse butts from mice escaping a downpour).
