Cut-leaf Penstemon : Penstemon richardsonii

A common colonizer of rocky crevices in the eastern parts of Washington and Oregon, Cut-leaf Penstemon is perfect for a full sun yard or rock garden.

Saw-toothed leaves are soft and bushy at the base, while many-flowered stems reach skyward. Long-lasting, reseeding flowers come back more charming each year.

This plant was noted as a dermatological aid for Oregon Paiute Indians.
