Blue-eyed Grass : Sisyrinchium bellum
True-blue eyes peek through fanned blades of grass. Leaves are narrow and lanced.
Blue-Eyed Grass grows wildly in moist areas, like woodland meadows and rain gardens. However, it can be quite drought tolerant when needed.
It grows to be about a foot tall, in all soil conditions, including sand, clay, seasonally flooded, and high traffic. Not fancied by deer; an adorable little plant.
