Perfect for urban gardens that need a low-growing woody addition.

One of the few naturally short-stature native shrubs; this spirea sports handsome flowers in spring and memorizing yellow red orange colors in fall.

Another gateway native - even the big boy landscapers choose this species for urban settings, adaptable and "well-behaved".

FWIW: the botanists are at it again; this is sometimes identified as Spiraea betulifolia var. lucida, but we've cut out the middle-betulifolia. According to Facebook lore, there is an Asian Spiraea betulifolia so stay woke. Look for lucida.
