Excellent low grower, long bloom time. Even people that hate the concept of landscaping with native plants will get behind this one; a gateway native.
Aliases include seaside fleabane or seaside daisy: multiple branched, 6-16 inch stems form compact, leafy tufts with broad, pale-green to blue-green leaves. Bristly stems grow from a basal rosette, each topped by a flower head with many narrow pale pink or lavender rays surrounding a yellow disk.
Grows well in sandy conditions with partial shade. Deer resistant .
