Aka: saskatoon. Tons of white flowers in spring, which turn to red fruit that gradually go black. Delicious to some humans and birds. Yellow fall color.

Subject to rust fungus, avoid planting near red cedar and avoid watering (especially the leaves). The fungus does minimal damage to the plant, but can ruin the berries cuz gross.
