The only native fir common to lower elevations in Western PNW (below 2500’). Flat spray needles on opposite sides of the twig (crush for tangerine scent!). Common Christmas tree fodder. Nice tree for somewhat smaller spaces, as it has a narrower width (than say, cedar or douglas fir).
