BYH Breakfast Club
Are you a plant kid who loves breakfast? Or a bad kid who loves plants?
The Backyard Habitat Breakfast Club is a time to get together and learn about stewarding habitat in our time and space. These sessions are designed to be informal and relaxed, so you can bring specific questions or just listen and learn.
Good Year Farms crew - Chelsea and Hannah - will share their insights on planting and tending native plants to meet your landscape needs. Bring design questions, plant question, animal questions, human questions, or whatever thematic curiosities you seek to explore....
Chelsea has a Gold Certified yard through the Backyard Habitat Program and continues to experiment in maintaining her urban space as a pollinator paradise. Hannah will share what she "knows" supporting ecological planting projects throughout the region.
Topics include: when and where and how to plant native species, what do the bugs and birds like, don't put that there - unless you love to prune - you're planting too many shrubs, and more!
$25/person - regardless of size or age - catered breakfast included.
*Dietary restrictions will be broadly considered - i.e. there will be GF and vegan options but we are unable to cater to specific needs.
Attendees will get 15% off same-day plant purchases. It's planting season ya'll.
